Role Overview: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated KS1 Class Teacher to join our dynamic team. As a KS1 Class Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational journey of our young learners, inspiring a love for learning and helping them reach their full potential. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator who is eager to make a positive impact in the lives of children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons that cater to the diverse needs of KS1 students.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued and empowered to succeed.
  • Foster a love for learning through engaging and interactive teaching methods.
  • Establish positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, maintaining open communication and collaboration.
  • Monitor student progress and provide timely feedback to support their academic and personal development.
  • Contribute to the wider school community through participation in extracurricular activities, staff meetings, and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience working with KS1 students is desirable but not essential. ECTs are welcome to apply.
  • A passion for education and a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of young learners.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Strong organiSational and time-management abilities, with a proactive approach to lesson planning and classroom management.
  • Commitment to upholding the values and ethos of our school community.
