We are recruiting for a catering assistant to work for our client in #wellingborough

Job Title: Canteen Assistant

Hours:

The working hours: 25h / week
Sunday - 5 hours (3pm - 8pm)
Any 4 days during the week 5 hours each day ( 2 x AM shift , 2x PM shift) - days to be discussed.
The shifts will definitely include a Friday 8am - 1PM.


Pay Rate: £11.80 per hour

About the Role:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Canteen Assistant to join our team. This role involves assisting in the smooth running of our canteen and kitchen facilities, ensuring the provision of high-quality service to our colleagues and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

Ordering stock for food preparation and vending machines
Managing and controlling stock levels
Checking quality and expiry dates of stock
Food preparation in accordance with hygiene standards
Replenishing and managing vending machines
Providing hospitality support
Maintaining cleanliness in canteen, kitchen, and dining areas
Adhering to food hygiene, HACCP, Allergen, and COSHH guidelines
Ensuring compliance with temperature controls and code dates

Requirements:

Previous cooking experience is essential
Food safety level 2 certification is required
Excellent customer service skills
Friendly and outgoing personality
Ability to work well in a team environment
High standard of presentation
Flexibility to cover various shifts, including weekends
