The Benefits · Salary between £35,000-£38,000 dependent on experience · Overtime paid at time ½, double time on Sundays · 28 days holiday including bank holidays · Pension Scheme · Healthcare Scheme - BUPA · Free Health shield - optician/dentist appointments etc · Ongoing commitment to progression The Role · Minimise production downtime, by carrying out routine scheduled maintenance (PPMs) and respond to unplanned breakdowns within the stipulated timeframes. · Carry out both planned maintenance and reactive breakdowns to plant machinery efficiently and effectively. · Ensure that production operations maximise output and minimise downtime safely through regular planned maintenance. · Respond to unplanned breakdowns in a timely and effective manner, working alongside engineering and production colleagues to minimise disruption. · Diagnose and repair equipment breakdowns · Carry out all work according to company procedures and Health & Safety Policies The Requirements · Previous experience working as a Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing environment (essential) · Multi-skilled Electromechanical Engineer - Mechanical Bias preferred (essential) · Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulic and Pneumatic capabilities (essential) · Relevant Electrical/Mechanical Qualifications (City & Guilds/NVQs) - Advantageous · Knowledge of PLC systems (advantageous) · Full UK Driving License required Interaction Recruitment have specialist consultants across the majority of industries within the UK, including but not limited to, Finance & IT, Technical & Engineering, Industrial, Commercial and Hospitality.
