Credit Controller (Temporary Assignment - 3 Months)

Location: Wells, Somerset (Mainly Remote with Occasional Travel to Local Office)

Are you a skilled Credit Controller looking for an exciting temporary opportunity? Join a reputable housing association in Wells, Somerset, and contribute to the mission of providing exceptional service to the community. This mainly remote role requires occasional travel to our local office, offering flexibility and work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver an excellent and efficient Credit Control service in line with our company's collections procedures.

Ensure timely debt chasing, escalating cases as required.

Maintain accurate records and handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

Proficient in computerised accounts systems and quick to learn new IT systems.

Experience working in a transaction processing office environment.

Previous experience in a finance department with Credit Control responsibilities.

Strong numeracy, analytical, and financial skills.

Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to spot, challenge, and resolve anomalies.

Effective communication skills to build relationships with all levels of staff and outside organisations.

A team player with a positive, 'can-do' attitude.
