Childrens Residential Support Workers & Senior Residential Support Workers are required for a 2 bed childrens EBD home in Cullompton, Devon.
As a Childrens Residential Support Worker you will support Children and young people on a one-to-one staffing ratio.
- Supporting children and young people to access education.
- Support them in accessing health services as and when needed.
- Teach children and young people to understand social skills and apply their learning daily.
- Help develop children and young peoples life skills.
- Be a support network, mentor, and role model to help children and young people learn essential emotional management skills.
- Help maintain the day-to-day running of the home.
- Embrace children and young peoples hobbies and interests.
- Keep accurate records of the day.
- Ensure practice aligns with care plans, risk management, policies, and procedures.
- Be able to identify risks and respond accordingly.
This role is shift-based and will require 6 shifts over 2 weeks.
They run from 9.00 am to 9.30 am the following day; the shift includes a sleep-in duty. Full-time hours are 42hrs
Sleep in rate is £60.00 per night and are also paid whilst on holiday
Pay: £34,476.00-£36,005.00 per year
To apply for this childrens residential support worker role you must have experience of working within a childrens residential home and either be working towards or already have a diploma in childrens residential. You must also be a car driver.
