A rapidly growing business is looking for an Assistant Accountant to join their friendly team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a really passionate and friendly Finance team!  You will provide vital support in the areas of accounts payable and receivable, while also contributing to month-end financial activities including accruals and prepayments. You will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial processes.  Main responsibilities will be: - Accounts Payable and Receivable processing
- Prepare accruals and prepayments, ensuring expenses and revenues are correctly recognized.
- Manage and execute balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records and investigate and resolve any discrepancies identified during reconciliations.
- Assist in maintaining the fixed asset register, including additions, disposals, and depreciation calculations.]
- Assist with the preparation of Financial Statements
- Assist with the audit
You will: - Have previous experience working within a Finance role
- Have strong Excel skills
- Be a strong communicator
