Assistant Management Accountantup to £40k + study support and benefitsHybrid WorkingWembley

I am recruiting for an assistant management accountant to join an employee centric, family run business within the hospitality sector. You will be working alongside the company's Senior Management Accountant and Financial controller supporting them with the day to day transactional finance duties as well as assisting with month end. This is a newly created role with alot of opportunity to progress

Responsibilities will include:

General Balance Sheet and P&L accounting, working with other finance members and other departments across the business.Management of the customer rebate process, including validating rebate claims and maintaining accruals schedule.Weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting with a heavy focus on period end accounting including management accounts preparation.General Finance administration tasks, ad hoc requests and cross functional work.Supporting the external audit process, fulfilling auditor queries.Create and maintain procedure documentation in conjunction with finance and the wider business.Provide accurate, timely and relevant information to support business information needs as required.Working with other finance members and wider business teams to support the business in the completion of the Budget, Forecast and 3 Year Plans.

Candidate specification:Ideally 2-3 years' experience in a similar role.Experience of working in a large-scale organisation desirable but not essential.A self-motivated approach to work - can do attitude, well-organised to effectively deliver high quality results.Good analytical, problem-solving, and excel skills.Good communication skills with an ability to build cross-functional relationships.Attention to detail.Ability to prioritise and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
