Teaching Assistant | Brent, HA0 | 95-110 | Full Time | Long Term-Permanent | ASAP Start

LTF Recruitment are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant for our partner school, joining their dedicated team in supporting pupils across Key Stage 3 and 4. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing academic and pastoral support to students, enabling them to achieve their full potential.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning and delivery of engaging and inclusive lessons across various subjects within Key Stage 3 and 4.
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to students, addressing their individual learning needs and helping them to overcome challenges.
  • Foster a positive and supportive learning environment where all students feel valued and motivated to succeed.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement strategies for student progress and well-being.
  • Contribute to the assessment and tracking of student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents as necessary.
  • Support students with additional needs, including those with SEN, EAL, or behavioural challenges, in accessing the curriculum and achieving their goals.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant, preferably within a secondary school setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting young people in their learning and personal development.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in education, child development, or related fields would be advantageous.
