Sales Manager

Our client, due to growth, investment, and continued success within the business is looking to recruit an experienced Sales Manager who has a strong background in Technical sales within the precision engineering industry. Therefore a strong understanding of CNC and machining process is critical as well as the ability to understand technical drawings and produce quotations based on machining costs and machining times. Our client has a strong desire to continue their upwards trajectory by bringing in new business allowing them to further invest in new machinery and recruit more Engineers. Therefore this role will be particularly focused on acquiring new customers and new business. This is a permanent role in a growing, friendly and supportive Engineering company. Our client produces a range of components from One off prototypes to high volume production work for a variety of industries including medical, Automotive, Defence, Oil and gas. This is a great opportunity to make your own mark on a well renowned company with a great reputation in engineering with further progression opportunities in years to come.

Sales Manager

  • Acquiring new customers and new business whilst working with Existing customers to grow current portfolio
  • Meeting with new customers to bring on new business
  • Following up on leads
  • Building long lasting relationships
  • Ability to estimate and quote on Machining costs and lead times
  • Ability to use current network and contacts to win new business
  • Understanding of CNC Machining (Milling, Turning, Grinding, Sliding Head)
  • Understanding of Machining Processes

Sales Manager

  • 50,000-60,000 Per Annum (DOE)
  • OTE- Bonuses based on performance and amount of new business brought in
  • Company Car and Laptop
  • Progression opportunities
  • Days Monday to Friday between 8am-4:30pm (Some flexibility)
  • Pension Scheme
