CNC LATHE OPERATOR – DAYS

As a CNC LATHE OPERATOR, you will be part of a friendly team. This role is considered to be of great importance in order to support the continued growth and development of our organisation. We are looking for hands-on experience with operating CNC lathes..
Our location is conveniently commutable from Dudley, Wolverhampton, Sutton Coldfield, Moseley, Halesowen, Telford, Birmingham, Oldbury, Smethwick, Walsall, Solihull, Aston, Rowley Regis, Stourbridge and Willenhall

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operating standard Toolroom equipment
- Operate Fork lift truck
- Set and Operate CNC lathes, Siemens controls
- Working from engineering drawings
- Support the Toolroom
- Manual lathe work
- Contribute towards continuous improvements
REQUIREMENTS
- Ideally Apprentice trained
- To have the ability to read engineering drawings
- Experience of setting and Operating lathes
- Manual lathe work
- Siemens controls is preferable but not essential
- Use of standard toolroom equipment
- Happy working a days role
- A “right first time” approach
