We are currently recruiting for a CNC Programmer/Setter role based in West Bromwich. Our client is a globally recognised manufacturer and distributor of electrical, mechanical, and safety infrastructure solutions, committed to empowering their customers while powering and protecting the world.
- Competitive hourly rate of 16 + 25% shift allowance = 20 per hour

The Role:
As a CNC Programmer/Setter, you will be:
- Setting up, programming, and operating twin spindle, multi-axis CNC turning centres
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, engineering drawings, and job orders
- Performing basic math calculations to ensure accurate measurements and dimensions
- Inspecting finished products for quality and adherence to specifications
- Collaborating with team members to optimise production processes
- Adhering to safety protocols and maintaining a clean work environment
The Candidate:
The ideal CNC Programmer/Setter candidate will have:
- Previous experience of programming, setting, and running CNC lathes with multi spindle and multi turret simultaneous machining
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and engineering drawings
- Knowledge of SolidWorks, CAD, and other software used in CNC programming
- Familiarity with logic controllers and tooling used in CNC operations
- Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to use hand tools for assembly and adjustments
- Essential strong knowledge of multi-axis turning and experience working from bar and designing programs
