We're currently seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to join our clients Electrical Department. This role presents a unique opportunity to be part of a highly skilled Electrical Engineering team within a lower tier COMAH facility.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Experience in electrical preventative and reactive maintenance in industrial environments
- Proficiency in electrical plant installation and modification within industrial settings
- Knowledge of statutory inspections
- Familiarity with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, manuals, and other technical information
- Adherence to company safe systems of work and permit to work systems
- Ideally, a good understanding of ATEX requirements.
Qualifications/Training:
- Minimum RQF level 3 (e.g. City & Guilds level 3) in a practical Electrical discipline
- Ideally, completion of a recognized Electrical apprenticeship
- Ideally, certification in the 18th edition electrical wiring regulations
- Preferably, Compex (Ex01-04) & (Ex05-06) qualification, although not essential
- Ideally trained in MEWP’s.
