The Role:
As a Maintenance Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
- Performing routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshooting and diagnosing issues with machinery and equipment.
- Repairing faulty equipment units and damaged structures.
- Conducting regular inspections to identify potential problems and prevent breakdowns.
- Developing and implementing maintenance procedures to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborating with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities.
- Keeping accurate records of maintenance work performed.
The Candidate:
The ideal Maintenance Engineer will have:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a maintenance role.
- Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, Pneumatic & Hydraulic systems.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics and technical manuals.
- Experience with logic controllers and other automation systems.
- Welding experience (advantageous).
- The ability to supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong attention to detail.
- A customer service-oriented mindset.
- The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
The Package:
The Maintenance Engineer role offers an annual salary of 35,500. In addition, you will be entitled to 25 days of annual leave, a companywide bonus scheme, and a festive shutdown at Christmas.
