Owen Payne Recruitment are seeking an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a leading Steel manufacturing client on a permanent basis located the Smethwick area.
Due to the nature of this role, previous experience as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer is essential.

Duties of a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer:
- Respond to production breakdowns in a timely and efficient manner
- Pro-actively manage independent workload through maintenance smart phone app
- Identify and solve the root-cause problems to provide long-term solutions
- Make customer service your focus, communicate, support and educate
- Record all modifications made to equipment to ensure documentation is accurate at all tines
- Observe and communicate any required improvements on production machinery
- Complete TPM activities on machinery as required
- Carry out basic site maintenance takes to support machinery installations
- Ensure safe working practices are adhered to at all times
Hours of work:
- Continental Night Shift
- 18:00-06:00 (4 on 4 off)
Salary:
- £42,000.00 - £45,000.00 per year (DOE)
