2nd / 3rd Line IT Support Engineer required by our client - a fast-growing and highly-regarded business in the Technology industry.

Due to natural growth, our client are now looking to hire an IT Support Engineer with good 2nd and some 3rd Line experience to join the existing team on a permanent basis.

As an IT Support Engineer you will be required to work within a challenging and dynamic role, providing a mixture of both remote and on-site support for a large and varied client-base.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2/3 years' experience in the IT industry, either within an in-house or outsourced technical role, and will also have good experience with a variety of networking issues and faults.

Due to the location of the office, candidates will be required to have access to their own vehicle and a full clean UK driving license.

Key Responsibilities:

- You will be working as part of an experienced and dedicated team, working through help desk tickets whilst also having the opportunity to go out on client sites, working on BAU daily support tasks and project work

- You will need to thrive on multi-tasking, where you will be responsible for tasks such as installing servers, replacing workstations, resolving OS faults whilst also identifying network connectivity issues

- Over time, you will be given the responsibility of your own projects where you will be expected to manage all technical aspects from start to completion

Key Experience:

- Server networking (DHCP, DNS, RRAS, TCP/IP)

- Firewalling (Port numbers, routing, network fault diagnosis)

- Remote working (RRAS, VPN, RDP)

- User support (Unlock accounts, password creation, password changes)

- Exchange / Office365

- Printer support (network printing, all common troubleshooting)

- SharePoint

- VMware & Hyper-V

- Cisco knowledge would be highly advantageous
