This is a brand new opportunity to take ownership of retail demand planning for a leading FMCG business going through growth and transformation.
Responsibilities include forecasting UK supermarket demand, analyzing data, tracking market trends, and collaborating with internal teams.

This is a brand new opportunity to come and take full ownership of retail demand planning, working for a leading FMCG business, going through significant growth and transformation. Ultimately, you will be responsible for forecasting UK supermarket demand for their product, analysing data and trends to create accurate forecasts. You will partner with Commercial Managers to understand customer needs as well as collaborating with internal teams across supply chain and inventory - someone who is a strong communicator across various functions is a must. In the role, you will also be responsible for tracking market trends, consumer preferences and competitor activity as well as wider industry trends that may impact the demand of the product - all with the intention of producing the most accurate forecast possible. We are looking for someone who:

Has experience within demand planning, ideally with FMCG, fresh produce or retail.
Understands consumer behaviour within perishables and how this impacts forecasting.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Strong Excel skills including data analysis
