We are assisting an established, respected, and APPROVED Electrical Contractor in their search to add depth to their team. They have a rare opportunity to bring on an ambitious Electrical Improver who wants to learn more, and who lives around the Bromley, Kent area.

The successful candidate will be paired with an experienced and qualified Electrician on various commercial and domestic projects around the London area. You will be expected to work to a high standard and possess a strong understanding of Health & Safety.

The typical and expected duties are:

• To undertake fault-finding, diagnosis and remedial works covering Domestic and Commercial electrical systems
• The confidence and ability to work independently on smaller, less complicated jobs.
• Conduct routine maintenance and periodic testing of existing systems, whilst ensuring that the installation continues to meet legal compliance
• Inspect and rewire electrical systems e.g. Fuseboard replacement/upgrades, lighting, mains power supplies
• Assist with installations of armoured and containment projects

What do YOU need?

• At least 3 years of practical Electrical experience
• An excellent working knowledge of IEE Regulations
• Computer literacy (especially in EICR software)
• A hunger and self-motivation to learn more
• Own vehicle and tools (Ideally)
• Working towards a qualification City & Guilds 2382 (or similar)
• ECS card
• High Standards of workmanship
• A solid work ethic (goes without saying, really)
• An unwavering sense of pride
