Service Manager Role Overview:

The Successful Service Manager will oversee the current team of service engineers and manage the scheduling of maintenance and repairs.

You will also be responsible for managing the spare parts side of the business in the UK and growing the service contract side of the business by selling these to customers.


Service Manager Role Responsibilities:

Providing leadership to the Service Engineering team.

Recruit, train, supervise and evaluate service engineers.

Scheduling of maintenance and repair visits

Monitoring the daily completion of tasks, ensuring deadlines are hit for services and repairs.

Management of spare parts

Selling service contracts to customers and growing this side of the business


Service Manager Candidate Requirements:

Experience as a Service Manager or a Service Engineer.

Experience of service engineering and maintenance within the food industry.

Commercial aptitude knowledge of service contracts and the ability to sell them to customers.

Experience of spare parts management.
