Top Job are proud to be partnering with a well respected Residential Service Provider to recruit a Registered Children's Home Manager in Westcliff-On-Sea!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the children's home, ensuring a safe, caring a nurturing environment.
  • Lead, manage and support a team of care staff, providing guidance, training and development opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations and best practice guidelines, including Ofsted Standards
  • Develop and implement care plans tailored to the individual needs of each child, promoting their physical, emotional and social development.
  • Manage budgets, resources and administrative tasks to ensure the efficient running of the home.
  • Build string relationships with the children, families, external agencies and stakeholders to support the well-being and development of children.
  • Respond to incidents and emergencies with professionalism and sensitivity ensuring the safety and well-being of the children and staff
Qualifications and Experience:

  • A minimum of 2 years experience in a managerial role within a Children's Residential setting
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management of Residential Childcare
  • At least 5 years experience in a role relevant to Residential Childcare
  • A full UK driving licence
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate and manage a team
  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations and best practice
