ogical Personnel Solutions URGENTLY require HGV Class 2 drivers on a long term contractto work out of a busy depot in Wetherby.
Duties will include;
-Working Monday to Friday start times are 05.00am/ 06.00am daily
-Doing 12-13 drops per day, job and knock, once all drops have been offloaded no matter the time, you are able to finish for the day
-Heavy handball required for both driver and drivers mate, this is not for the faint hearted, previous manual handling experience is beneficial but training will be given
-Manual heavy lifting required from both the driver and drivers mate upon arrival of delivery
-Delivering beverages / alcohol to different supermarkets, shops, pubs and wholesalers throughout the UK, delivering into shops, into shop doors, cellars, basements, awkward places.
-Must have own transport for this job due to the start times and location of the depot
-This client can accept new pass drivers, but a few months previous hgv class 2 driving experience is essential
-Candidates must be physically fit for this specific role due to carrying large heavy kegs/crates as and where the client requests them to be delivered to
-Inductions are run for this client on a Friday usually from 8am which will last until 1pm which is paid for
-A full weeks training is then provided after the induction before commencing work as you will be required to shadow one of there own drivers to have a better understanding of the company / procedures and for health and safety purposes
Pay rates whilst working for Logical are;
PAYE: 14ph or 15.68ph including holiday
UMBRELLA: 17ph
This role has the potential to go perm.
Drivers must have full class 2 licence, digi card and cpc qualification. No more than 6 points on the licence. Drivers mates applying must have previous drivers mate experience in a similar role and be physically fit due to the role being so physically demanding and strenuous and have their own transport to get to and from work
