Location: HMYOI Wetherby, York Rd, Wetherby LS22 5ED

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:45 to 16:45 (Finish at 15:45 on Fridays)

Pay: £12 per hour, paid weekly

Wetherby Young Offenders Institution is a male juveniles prison, located in Wetherby, West Yorkshire, England. The YOI is operated by His Majesty's Prison Service.

Requirements:

·Must provide 5 years’ worth of UK workable references.

·Must have full right to work with no restrictions.

Main Purpose: To provide a comprehensive cleaning service that fulfills our contractual commitments, including tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, bin emptying, surface polishing, and mopping, in accordance with cleaning best practices and health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities:

·Work in compliance with legislative regulations, such as the correct use of color-coded equipment.

·Adhere to internal and external HSEA (Health, Safety, Environment, and Assurance) requirements.

·Deliver a cleaning service that meets our contractual obligations.

·Monitor stock levels and order consumables through appropriate channels to ensure service delivery.

·Operate machinery safely and in accordance with provided guidelines and training.

·Ensure high-quality service is consistently provided to building users, ensuring customer satisfaction.

·Report any concerns or issues to the supervisor immediately for action, such as broken equipment.

·Complete all duties within the allocated time to a high standard.

·Operate in accordance with the Soft Services Platform and handbook.
