Foundation Pathways Programme Manager (SEND & Pre-16)

We are seeking a Foundation Pathways Programme Manager with a strong background in SEND and Pre-16 education. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of our students by ensuring the delivery of industry-standard learning programmes that enable progression into further education or employment. The successful candidate will be a beacon of inspiration for both staff and students, demonstrating exceptional programme management skills and a profound understanding of the student experience.

Day-to-Day of the Role:
  • Teach across various pathways within the Foundation and Progression Faculty.
  • Manage staff performance, including appraisals and sickness cover.
  • Support the Director of Faculty in managing the programme lifecycle, ensuring high-quality curriculum planning and delivery.
  • Lead the quality assurance of programmes, maintaining compliance with awarding bodies.
  • Develop and maintain industry contacts to keep curriculum relevant and enhance student employability.
  • Engage in continuous professional development to ensure excellence in programme delivery.
  • Manage administrative tasks such as the production of programme documentation and monitoring of course performance metrics.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Degree or equivalent qualification relevant to Foundation and Progression Pathways.
  • PGCE, Certificate in Education, or equivalent.
  • Level 2 English and Maths.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in managing SEND education programmes.
  • Proven track record of outstanding teaching and understanding of what constitutes an excellent learning experience.
  • Proficiency in digital platforms like Microsoft Office, Google Suite, REMS, and Promonitor.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
