Quality Inspector, Salary: Up to £30,576 per annum, Location: Weymouth, Schedule: Monday - Friday, 35 hours per week

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Quality Inspector to join a well-established company in Weymouth. In this role, you will work closely with the manufacturing team to ensure that all components meet the standards set by our clients, company policies, and regulatory requirements.

As a Quality Inspector, you will use your extensive knowledge of manufacturing processes to perform the following responsibilities:

  • Conduct First Off Inspections
  • Perform In-Process and Roaming Inspections
  • Complete Pre- and Post-Treatment Inspections
  • Conduct Goods-In Inspections
  • Perform Final Inspections
  • Produce First Article Inspection Reports to AS9102

To be successful in this role, you must have previous experience in a similar position within a machined and fabricated environment. Additionally, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Proficiency in using handheld measuring equipment such as micrometres, verniers, height gauges, comparators, and thread gauges
  • Prior experience in quality assurance within the aerospace industry
  • Previous experience in CMM programming
  • An understanding of tolerances
  • The ability to write detailed reports, including FAIR to AS9102
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
