THE SCHOOL

A lovely SEN school that caters for students with SEMH and ADHD based in Wheatley, Oxfordshire are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team ASAP on a long-term supply basis. There is a permanent role on offer for the right candidate. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about education and wants to work alongside experienced professionals in a supportive and dynamic environment.

THE ROLE

As a Full-Time SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the students' educational journey. Your responsibilities will include in the following:

*Assist teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.

*Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who may require extra help.

*Help manage classroom activities and maintain a productive learning environment.

*Foster positive relationships with students, promoting their social and emotional development.

*Support children with special educational needs (SEN) and adapt teaching materials as necessary.

*Assist with classroom organisation, including preparing materials and resources.

*Promote a culture of respect, inclusivity, and enthusiasm for learning.

*Contribute to the safety and well-being of students in all school activities.

ABOUT YOU

*Previous experience working with children or young people, particularly those with Sen needs.

*Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

*Empathy and patience.

*A genuine passion for helping children reach their full potential.

*Relevant qualifications or Team Teach training is a bonus
