The purpose of the CNC Setter Operator roles will be to set and operate CNC multi-tasking lathes to manufacture components from raw material for the internal assembly flow lines to the highest quality and on time.

You will produce small to medium size batched of work on the CNC Lathes and using engineered drawings and measuring equipment will inspect the product for compliance and identify any quality defects and report as necessary.

You will conduct timely and regular checks on the machine to maintain good working order and 5S standards and optimise the efficiencies and cycle times plus tool life monitoring.

Final inspection including de burring, cleaning and other remedial tasks will also form part of this role and you will complete all necessary paperwork for compliance and traceability purposes.

This role will offer a double day shift working pattern with the hours as detailed:

Week 1: Monday to Friday 6am-2pm

Week 2: Monday to Thursday 2pm-10.30pm and Friday 2pm-7.30pm)
