We are currently looking for a Finance Manager to join manager our accounts team. The role will be managing our ledgers, fixed assets, financial controls, and ensuring compliance with VAT/Tax regulations. The successful candidate will be instrumental in producing statutory accounts and other external reports.

Day to Day of the role:
  • Deliver high-quality and timely financial reporting, complete with robust analysis and recommendations for improvement.
  • Oversee reporting of overheads in the P&L and conduct monthly overhead review meetings with department managers.
  • Take responsibility for monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations and maintain ownership of the Balance Sheet.
  • Input all actual balances into the corporate BPC system.
  • Generate monthly sales reports for the European sales team.
  • Lead the Accounts Receivable team to meet DSO targets and minimise bad debt.
  • Manage the Accounts Payable team to resolve invoice queries promptly and ensure suppliers are paid on time.
  • Oversee the UK Group cash pool and liaise with the corporate treasurer on cash strategies.
  • Manage the annual audit process with external auditors.
  • Uphold responsibility for Internal Controls and SOX compliance alongside the finance management team.
  • Handle VAT reporting and Fixed Asset management.
  • Administer the online employee expenses system.
  • Contribute to digital transformation projects aimed at enhancing the finance team’s efficiency.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in financial accounting and reporting.
  • Strong understanding of balance sheet management and financial controls.
  • Proficiency in corporate financial systems and tools.
  • Experience in managing accounts receivable and payable teams.
  • Familiarity with VAT reporting and fixed asset management.
  • Ability to manage annual audits and ensure compliance with internal and SOX controls.
  • Adept at driving digital transformation and improving financial processes.
