CNC Programmer/ Setter/operator/manual machinist required by busy engineering company.
Working as part of a small team it is essential to be self motivated with a flexible approach.
You will be required to set and operate CNC machines producing components to tight tolerances.
Essential
. At least 3 years experience in a Manufacturing Engineering Environment.
. Ability to use manual lathes and milling machines.
. Ability to set and operate CNC Lathes and Milling Machines including set up of tooling.
. Able to read and interpret Engineering drawings and work orders accurately.
. Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail
. The ability to thrive in a small business environment - willing to get stuck into tasks.
. You will also take responsibility for keeping your own workspace clean and tidy.
. Inspection of parts using micrometers, verniers and gauges.
. Knowledge of Quailty and Safety standards, procedures and regulations.
Desirable
. Experience with programming using Mazatol is extremely desirable.
. A relevant manufacturing Engineering qualification.
. Ability to come in and hit the ground running.
Hours of work 40 per week : Monday-Thursday 7.30am-4.30pm Friday 7.30am- 1.30pm. 34,000 per annum. Temporary to Permanent contract given after successful interview and trial period. Successful candidate is needed to start as soon as is possible.
