Armstrong Knight Executive Search are working with a forward-thinking, supportive accountancy practice that is expanding its team and seeking a talented Semi-Senior Accountant to join them.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with practice experience who is keen to broaden their knowledge, progress quickly, and play a key role in client delivery.
The Role:As Semi-Senior Accountant, you will be involved in a variety of accounts and tax work, supporting a wide-ranging client base across SMEs, owner-managed businesses, and individuals. Responsibilities will include:
- Preparing year-end accounts and management accounts
- Assisting with VAT returns and bookkeeping
- Supporting on personal and corporate tax compliance
- Liaising directly with clients to provide advice and updates
- Supporting Senior Managers and Partners on ad hoc projects
- AAT qualified / part-qualified ACCA or ACA (or equivalent)
- Previous experience within an accountancy practice is essential
- Strong technical grounding in accounts preparation and VAT
- Confident communicator with excellent organisational skills
- Ambitious, team-oriented, and eager to progress your career
- Competitive salary (£28,000 – £35,000 DOE)
