Position: Machine Operator
Type: Temporary to Permanent
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Shifts: Rotating shifts: 07:00-15:00, 15:00-23:00, 23:00-07:00
Pay: £11.44, enhancements for late and night shifts £14.87
Location: Wickford – Own transport required due to location/shift work.
Duties – But not limited to:
- Operate and monitor machines to ensure efficient production processes.
- Conduct quality checks to maintain high standards of output.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and productivity.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times.
- Palletise and prepare finished goods for dispatch.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in machine operation preferred but not essential as full training provided.
- Basic mathematics skills with ability to read measurements.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic workplace.
- Basic level of English.
- Document quantities as per job requirements.
- Access to own transport.
