Our client is a leading commercial Landscaping company working across th UK and Europe, as the successful candidate you will be supporting the Senior Estimator with measures and take-offs. Populating templates for review and updating tender log. All in house training provided and where necessary, further training may be agreed.
Key Responsibilities
-Use software to carry out drawing measures (take off's).
-Use software to create quotes and various pricing exercises.
-Use various spreadsheets for tender management and data control.
-Working well within a team, and ensuring all information is communicated and documented.
-Prepare tender packs.
-Monitor changes to the design and/or construction work. Checking drawing updates for changes.
-Liaise with the clients well and build relationships with suppliers.
-Help to source construction materials for pricing.
-Be willing to work in an office environment.
-Supporting the Senior Estimator.
Essential
-Attention to detail.
-Good work ethic and determination to succeed.
-Experience of MS Excel and Word is essential.
-Building industry experience would be beneficial.
- We will look to support any further educational aspects providing the it is deemed relevant.
-Have strong communication skills.
-Be willing to work to tight deadlines.
-Ability to work on their own initiative but remembering you are working as part of a team.
-Presentable with great organisation skills.
-Ability to ask for help if needed.
-Good understanding of numbers and ability to formulate emails professionally.
