Description
- Processing invoices accurately and on time.
- Reconciling supplier statements against company records.
- Preparing payment runs and processing BACS payments.
- Dealing with supplier enquiries.
- Managing expenses and payments.
- Reporting directly to the Accounts Payable Manager.
- Contributing to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
- Maintaining confidentiality of organisational information.
Profile
A successful Accounts Payable Clerk should have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Experience in a team member role within an accounting or finance department.
- Familiarity with accounting software.
