Description

  • Processing invoices accurately and on time.
  • Reconciling supplier statements against company records.
  • Preparing payment runs and processing BACS payments.
  • Dealing with supplier enquiries.
  • Managing expenses and payments.
  • Reporting directly to the Accounts Payable Manager.
  • Contributing to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
  • Maintaining confidentiality of organisational information.

Profile

A successful Accounts Payable Clerk should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Experience in a team member role within an accounting or finance department.
  • Familiarity with accounting software.
