Alecto Recruitment is working with a market leader in the Anaerobic Digestion sector who is actively looking for a Maintenance Electrician at their site in Widnes.

Package:

  • 14 shifts holiday per annum increasing over time.
  • Company Pension
  • Eligible to opt into private healthcare plan after 2yrs service.
  • Working on a 4 on 4 off rota (days + nights)

Responsibilities:

As a Maintenance Electrician your duties and responsibilities will vary but will include:

  • Carrying out day to day maintenance of all plant and machinery.
  • Working under Health & Safety guidelines.
  • Carrying out routine electrical maintenance and repairs according to planned maintenance schedules, including the completion of risk assessments.
  • Carrying out electrical maintenance on PPM system.
  • Diagnosing and resolving electrical issues
  • Provide production support within the shift team and provide shift cover when required.
  • Completing department daily work record sheets.
  • Assisting other mechanical / operational departments when required.

The Person:

  • Ideally have experience of an Anaerobic Digestion facility or related experience.
  • You must have served a recognised Electrical Apprenticeship.
  • Have extensive Electrical experience working in a continuous process environment.
  • Have proven experience with fault finding, including troubleshooting and solving problems.
  • Be familiar with general factory maintenance practices.
  • Be conversant with basic PLC logic and inverter drives.
  • Be able to work using your own initiative.
  • Be able to work on your own or as part of a team.
  • Be able to communicate well at all levels.
