EYFS 1:1 TA

Discover an exciting opportunity to join a wonderful school set in a lovely area of Runcorn! We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and caring EYFS 1:1 TA, to join one of our schools after May term. In this role, you will have the privilege of working on a 1:1 basis with a child in Early Years who has specific educational needs. As a Teaching Assistant you will provide key support for the class Teacher as well as becoming a fundamental day to day support for the child.

In this role as an EYFS 1:1 TA, strong collaboration with fellow staff members is vital. It is important that you are able to adapt activities to cater to the diverse learning styles and individual requirements of the student you will be supporting. Effective communication is key, as you will interact with children, parents, and colleagues on a regular basis. Building positive relationships with both students and colleagues is crucial in order to foster progress and achievement among the children you work with. Furthermore, a positive approach to managing behaviour and ensuring engagement at all times will be key for the EYFS 1:1 TA.

A Level 3 or equivalent qualification would be useful, but your enthusiasm and passion is key. For those who don't have a relevant qualification, relevant experience will be considered for this EYFS 1:1 TA role.

As the EYFS 1:1 TA you will need:

• The ability to engage and make school a fun and rewarding place to be
• Experience working with children in Early Years
• To promote inclusion and acceptance of all students
• Work under the guidance of the Class Teacher and support with planning, assessment and evaluating of childrens progress
• Previous experience in a 1:1 role
• An enhanced DBS - We can support with this if you dont already have one.
