If yes then read with me! We are currently looking for an experienced TA to work with primary school pupils in Wigan. In this role you will play a vital role in nurturing curiosity in pupils and supporting them to learn and innovate, helping teachers in delivering lessons, assessing pupils progress, tests and assignments.

Job responsibilities:
- Help teachers prepare lesson materials.
- Set up tidy classrooms for lessons.
- Work with pupils to make sure they understand the lessons.
- Watch, record and report the progress that pupils make.
- Maintaining a positive and supportive demeanour to encourage a constructive learning environment.
- Being able to adapt to changing situations and tasks within the classroom environment.
- Be patient to work with pupils who may require extra time.
Preferred skills:
- Clear communication is essential for interacting with pupils, teachers etc
- Flexible and adaptable.
- Being able to troubleshoot issues that arise in the classroom.
- Creatively engaging activities and materials to support pupil learning.
Requirements:
- An Enhanced Child DBS or willingness to undertake one ( we can help with this ) .
- Good knowledge of the UK national curriculum.
- Excellent planning and organisation skills.
