We are looking for an enthusiastic 1st/2nd Line IT Engineer to join a hardware manufacturing company, based in Warrington.

Founded by gamers and developers, they specialise in manufacturing high performance PCs and gaming tech. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to internal users and being hands on with hardware builds including custom, gaming, desktop and water cooled PCs.

The role requires you to have a driving licence and own vehicle as support to their Warrington and Bradford offices are required on a weekly basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be the first point of contact for staff with technical issues
  • Be willing to help out and contribute to the build of hardware
  • Respond to queries via phone, email and other channels
  • Diagnose technical issues and provide solutions
  • Work fast and efficiently to support the fast moving distribution of PCs to customers
  • Provide customer service and liaise with other departments

Skills and Requirements:

  • Have a genuine interest in what they do (gamers, developers, like building PCs?)
  • Willing to travel to Warrington and Bradford office on a weekly basis
  • Able to support users at a 1st/2nd line base
  • Good knowledge of computer hardware and software
  • Experience with Windows and/or Mac operating systems
  • Laptop, PC, printer support/troubleshooting
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Office 365, Intune, Active Directory, Servers, Security
  • Driving Licence and own vehicle
