Company Overview:

My client is a leading provider of specialist Civil Engineering Services. Their specialist skill sets include embankment stabilisation, retaining structures, scour protection, piling, bridge refurbishment and reconstruction, rock and soil cutting remedial works, drainage, scour protection and highway works.

What we are looking for:

This company are looking for a Project Manager with a minimum of 5 years experience in a relative role. Experience managing multiple smaller scale projects up to the value of £1,000,000 is a key factor they are looking for within the rail and civils sector.

Responsibilities:

·Managing client relationships with Network Rail and the contracts.

·Liasing with internal teams, commercial, planning and site staff.

·Ensuring the projects are kept on budget, sticking to the plan and delivered on time.

·Reviewing final accounts and estimates.

·Providing technical support, guidance and practical advice to WDM’s on the NW&C Framework to ensure competent execution of required day to day work.

·Requisition of the major items of temporary works and permanent works materials, sub-contractors, plant and equipment necessary to achieve the contract delivery as per the delegated levels of authority.

·Lead and implement professional safety behavior and culture throughout the business, promoting positive change in everyday activities.

Experience and Personal Qualities:

·Experience of Reactive works delivery frameworks

·Civil Engineering construction project work

·Management of multiple work sites

·Working within the railway sector

·Civils background

·Earthworks experience (desirable)

Qualifications:

·Suitably qualified by experience

·Railway safety Training (PTS)
