Learning Support Assistant - 1:1 SEN Support Required In Wigan
About the Role
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with students who have special educational needs (SEN), including autism, ADHD, and social-emotional difficulties. This is a rewarding full-time role, offering the chance to:
Provide 1:1 support tailored to individual student needs
Apply your understanding of psychology to assist with learning and behaviour strategies
Collaborate with teachers to create a supportive, inclusive classroom environment
Monitor and report on student progress-valuable experience for aspiring Educational Psychologists

What We're Looking For
A degree in Psychology or a related field, with an interest in SEN and child development
Experience working with children or young people (e.g. in education, care, youth work, or tutoring)
A calm, patient, and compassionate approach to supporting learners
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
A genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of young people
