Our Client, Wigan Council, is seeking a Children’s Social Worker to join their Permanence Team.

Responsibilities of this role:
- Experience of working within a busy and fast paced fostering team
- Knowledge and experience of LADO and OFSTED procedures and notifications
- Knowledge and experience of LA Stability panels
- Desired - knowledge and use of liquid logic
- Supporting a small caseload of more complex foster carers, children and young people. Having sound knowledge of times in which support needs to be increased
- Providing fostering families with support guidance and advice. Completing annual reviews and all associated paperwork within timescale
Requirements of this role:
- Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
- Must have minimum of 2 years’ post qualified experience.
