Are you passionate about culinary arts and education? Do you have the skills to inspire young minds in the field of Food Technology? We are currently seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Food Tech Teacher to join our team for a 6-8 week placement starting next Friday, May 10th.

Location: Based in Wigan / Newton-le-Willows

Role Overview: As a Food Tech Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and informative lessons to students, fostering their creativity and culinary skills. You will play a vital role in shaping the future of our students, providing them with the knowledge and practical experience needed to excel in the field of food technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver dynamic lessons in accordance with the curriculum.
  • Demonstrate practical skills in food preparation and cooking techniques.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Assess and provide feedback on student progress.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall learning experience.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Strong background in Food Technology or related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to engage and motivate students of varying abilities.
  • Proven track record of effective teaching and learning.

Duration: 6-8 week placement, starting May 10th
