Manufacturing Management Accountant

The Management Accountant will play a key role in the business. Working closely with the Financial Controller you will be preparing and analysing factory financial performance against budget and targets.
Key responsibilities of a Management Accountant will include:
- Updating all databases used for the calculation of the standard product cost
- Analyse variances in actual usage of raw materials and labour hours to provide insight to SMT to support efficient management of the production process.
- Produce reports to explain variances against standard for manufacturing and labour losses.
- Produce the factory budget and re-forecast (when required)
- Calculate PCU and NPD
What is required to be a successful Management Accountant:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Strong IT skills - ability to extract, manipulate and analyse date in Excel and Access
- SAP FICO experience - Desirable
- Hold a recognised accounting qualification - or hold demonstrable experience to be QBE
- Strong communicator with the ability to explain complex data
