Cleaning Supervisor

The Opportunity:
If you have experience of supervising a team of office or commercial Cleaners and enjoy Cleaning yourself, this could be the ideal role for you. The Cleaning Supervisor'shours will be 8am-5pm Mon to Fri (with ocassional cover from 10am-7pm needed). You will clean these really lovely, busy offices and common areas, and undertake the admin and computer work required to manage your team of Cleaning staff.

The Role:
  • With experience of leading a team you will supervise the cleaning team, onboarding new starters, training where required, conducting regular reviews and providing a supportive line management ethos. You will pro-actively guide the team ensuring that both the day and evening cleaning teams are delivering the high standards required.
  • Create a positive approach and attitude towards Health and Safety.
  • You will have a good level of IT knowledge and skills in order to create work schedules, maintain accurate records, ensure safety, quality and cost standards, while getting involved in carrying out cleaning duties directly.
  • Cleaning of communal workplace areas such as the Warehouse, toilets, washrooms, hallways, meeting rooms, offices and external areas. Including the cleaning, clearing and re-setting of meeting rooms. Outside cleaning including yard sweeping, window cleaning, pressure washing and leaf blowing entrances and external pathways. Cleaning of Company vehicles as required.
Skills:
  • The role requires an individual who is comfortablecleaning any area of the business, somebody who is used to managing a team, and somebody who is able to use computers to complete the required administration.
  • 2 years experience in a similarrole idea.
