Junior QS

Trade Cover Recruitment is currently seeking a Junior Quantity Surveyor for one of our clients. As a Junior Quantity Surveyor with Trade Cover Recruitment, you will play a vital role in supporting our client's construction projects from inception to completion. You'll work closely with our client's experienced teams, gaining hands-on experience in quantity surveying while contributing to the success of diverse construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities.
• Conduct cost estimation, budget preparation, and cost control for projects.
• Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure projects meet quality, cost, and sustainability targets.
• Analyze project progress and expenditures, identifying areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
• Assist in resolving contractual and commercial issues as they arise.
• Stay updated on industry trends and regulations related to construction practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Knowledge of construction contracts and procurement processes.
• Passion for the construction industry and career development.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Full UK driving license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
