Thrive Group - Shepton Mallet are delighted to be working with our company based in Wincanton who are actively looking to recruit a Team Leader to join the team on a permanent basis.
What you will be doing:
* Planning your people and materials to effectively meet your daily targets
* Take a supervisory roles of the shift's operational structures, allocating duties based on skills and experience
* Be responsible and accountable for daily KPIs, and knowing when to escalate
* Support the communications between Production and other departments
* Monitor and support ongoing development of Operatives, promoting the training pathways and encouraging the advancement of knowledge amongst operatives
* Uphold our food safety, health & safety, and quality standards, holding others accountable for their actions and promoting best practice
* Lead the people management of your team including recruitment, absence management, workload allocation, and timesheet management
Skills & qualifications you will need to succeed:
* A resolution focussed mindset
* People management experience is essential
* Food production experience is essential
* Good IT skills
* Excellent communicator in both written and spoken English
* Experience of working with the LEAN framework is desirable
Salary: £33,441.72

ROTATING WEEKLY SHIFTS: Monday to Thursday 0600-1400 & Friday 0600-1300
Monday to Thursday 1400-2200 & Friday 1300-2000
