Our client is a company specialising in property based in the northern outskirts of Winchester. They are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join their friendly team, and assist with lettings accounts and general bookkeeping. You will be responsible for a range of duties including:
- Updating tenant rent receipts and reconciling the bank on a daily basis
- Managing individual client accounts within the software including property repair retention and paying surplus to landlords
- Raising lettings sales invoices
- Handling payments to suppliers and reconciling supplier statements
- Managing the Tenancy Deposit Scheme bank accounts and reconciling
- Supplying Landlords end of year tax return information
The company are ideally looking for someone to work circa 30 hours a week over 5 days, they can accommodate flexibility on start and finish times in line with school hours etc. The company has free parking. You will need strong previous experience undertaking bookkeeping. Any experience within the property / lettings sector would be highly beneficial but not essential.
