What you'll be doing

Reporting into the estate owner, you'll have a wealth of knowledge to utilise.

This role will see you managing all things arable across this 8,000ac mixed farming estate.

In terms of the day-to-day, you'll be hands on and actively involved; from crop walking, to crop planning and planting, to people management, project work and farm business tenancies!

You'll get to pass on your farming expertise to a close-knit, hard-working team and play a part in developing their careers too.

They want to hear your opinion. The business is continuing to evolve and develop, but they know they can't do this without people to coming up with and implementing ideas.

You'll play a part in the estate developing even further.

What you'll need

FACTS and BASIS would be ideal but is no essential! You'll have been in an farm manager (or assistant farm manager role) for a few years now, and be ready to take a step up to a considerably larger farm.

You'll know your stuff when it comes to, crop planning, harvesting and all things farming.

People management will be second nature, you'll thrive on passing your knowledge on and developing high-performing teams.
