We are seeking a Finance Manager for a small but rapidly growing company, based in Winchester. The business is at the cutting edge of creativity and design within the digital marketing & branding sector. This is an opportunity to shape a newly created role where you can have a positive impact on the financial growth of the business and help optimise future strategy.You will benefit from hybrid and flexible working, a company bonus, generous annual leave and pension and an annual team holiday, all whilst you oversee a variety of business areas and get stuck into the business operations.Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for:
  • Financial control - support all financial reporting and planning for the company
  • Budgets – annual budget process and providing insightful analysis
  • Cashflow management – day-to-day liquidity and cash investment
  • Operations – supporting IT and operations to ensure smooth processes and identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements both externally and internally
  • Risk management – pragmatically reviewing business opportunities to maximise profit whilst minimising risk
  • Pricing – assist in optimising profit through competitive pricing strategies
What you will need:
  • Relevant experience of working within a creative/marketing based business to possess an understanding of their creativity-led culture
  • To be a qualified accountant – ACCA / CIMA / ACA with relevant post-qualification experience
  • Previous experience in a similar role, such as Finance Manager / Financial Accountant / Senior Financial Accountant / Senior Management Accountant
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong IT skills, including advanced Excel and ability to use MI tools to analyse information
