Build Recruitment is currently partnered with a leading consultancy with their search for an Assistant Project Manager out of their Winchester office.

What’s the opportunity?

As an Assistant Project Manager, you will support a growing team in Winchester, delivering a wide range of exciting projects. The team takes pride in its diverse portfolio, which includes multi-million-pound factory projects for well-known automotive brands, luxurious residential properties for high-net-worth individuals and ensuring the safe construction and operation of local authority housing. Our client is a corporate member of the Association for Project Management and supports career progression towards achieving either ChPP or MRICS status.

The role will include:

  • Organising, preparing agendas for, and minuting meetings with project stakeholders at all levels.
  • Assisting with the preparation of project control documentation, including PEPs, Risk Registers, Programmes, and reports.
  • Co-ordinating internal teams.
  • Attending project sites across the portfolio for meetings and inspections.
  • Maintaining project records and complying with Quality Assurance processes.

Qualifications:

  • Degree educated, ideally in a construction or project management-related field (preferred, not essential)
  • Experience of working in a busy role with deadlines
  • Driving licence
  • IT literate in MS Office (MS Project preferred, not essential)
  • Experience in:
  • Co-ordinating and managing people and processes
  • Producing reports, minutes, and other written documentation
