Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst

Join a Well-Established Environmental Consultancy - Hampshire Region

Penguin Recruitment is working closely with a long-standing and highly regarded environmental consultancy that is currently seeking a qualified Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst to join their growing team in the South.

This is an exciting opportunity to work across a broad range of projects including domestic, commercial, and industrial sites. The role combines technical responsibility with client-facing interaction and offers excellent career progression, performance incentives, and support for further professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct all asbestos survey types across various property sectors
  • Air monitoring, fibre counting, and 4-stage clearances
  • Supervise and audit asbestos removal contractors
  • Review and sign off contractor method statements (POWs)
  • Collect and input site data via tablet-based systems
  • Provide technical guidance and consultancy to clients
  • Represent the company in a professional, client-facing capacity

What You'll Need:

  • BOHS P402, P403 & P404 (or equivalent)
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in asbestos surveying/analysis
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Strong attention to detail and good reporting standards
  • Confidence using digital tools and field software
  • Good understanding of UK asbestos regulations and site practices
  • Motivated, well-presented, and strong communication skills

Desirable (Not Essential):

  • Experience within a UKAS-accredited consultancy
  • Enhanced DBS check
  • Additional H&S training (First Aid, PASMA, IPAF, etc.)
  • COCA qualification
