A Buyer is required for an industrial / manufacturing company based in Winsford to manage procurement and supply chain operations, ensuring cost-effective purchase of all materials and services as required by the procurement plan.

Description
- Manage procurement processes and coordinate material and resources allocation.
- Oversee supply chain operations including delivery, receipt, warranty, damages, and insurance.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers to obtain best price and service.
- Identify potential suppliers based on project requirements.
- Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information, and invoices.
- Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed.
- Prepare and present reports on procurement and supply chain performance.
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure procurement goals are met.
Profile
A successful Buyer should have:
- Proven experience in a similar role within the industrial / manufacturing sector.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain and procurement procedures.
- Good understanding of market dynamics and sound business judgement.
- Ability to negotiate and sustain networking relationships.
- Proficiency in MS Office and purchasing software.
