We are an independent beautiful countrypub that is locatedon a busy main road. Summer trade and Sunday lunches is when we are at our busiest, witha possible 200 covers to attend too.
We are looking for talented, confident and friendly people to join our team to give our customers the best experience possible.
Shift pattern: Between08:30am - 10:00pm.
Previous Kitchen experience is mandatory.
AS A SOUF CHEF, YOUR MAIN DUTIES WILL INVOLVE:
- Helping with deliveries.
- Preparing meats and vegetables.
- Assisting fellow chefs.
- Assisting in stock rotation.
- Contributing to maintaining kitchen and food safety standards.
- Effective time management for preparation and food service.
- Precise measurement of dish ingredients and portion sizes.
- Executing daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning duties as directed by the Head Chef.
- Confidently cooking completed dishes from the menu.
- Come up with ideas for our Specials board and keeping on top of numbers.
